Hello again! Here's a quick (~7 hours) piece I did after a bout of extreme inspiration that resulted in me contemplating how Mega Latios and Mega Latias might fold in their arms like their normal forms. At first I thought their new wings looked really awkward until I finally realized that those shapes at the bases of their wings are actually what their "shoulders" (I guess you could call them that? The lumps they have on their backs where their wings emerge from.) used to be in their base forms! Naturally I had to draw them. This was originally gonna be a pencil sketch, but then I figured I colored it. And pretty soon I decided to draw a background too for some reason!
Much more laborious attention was paid to perspective and the existence of shapes in 3D space. I definitely have a few of Nsio's tutorials to thank for this. I feel like it makes a world of difference. How about you?
I told myself I wouldn't do a fully-colored digital piece of the Mega Eons until we had better official art of them, but... I couldn't resist. I hope my anatomy isn't too far off from the real thing, but I suppose I should be prepared to make alterations to this piece once we know for sure.

part of my headcanon about the eons is that they project an invisible forcefield over their faces in flight, so as to protect their eyes from the wind.
