Wow... I haven't drawn the Latis in ... months?
I decided to do the best I could to come back with a "bang" of sorts. Volta and Pairo are done in my usual style, and I speedpainted the BG. I think I might do that from now on, until I can really paint backgrounds, that is. x3
I suppose iScribbling with Lily and Maddy that other night helped me visualize light more. I also saw some techniqes in an art magazine I was browsing the other day. So I really tried to go all out with lighting this time. Not as good as that magazine picture, but better than I've been doing I'd say.
Based on the title, I've changed my Pokésona Pair again. xD And this functions also as a ref., sorta. Gone is Volta's soul dew. Wayy too cliché when you really think about it. So I gave her something that'd suit her and please her more: A severed extension cord! xD And well, I threw a scarf on Pairo because there's not many fire-related objects one could wear without burning everything down! o.0 I'll just rationalize and say that the scarf symbolizes warmth, and therefore fire! 8D Go me!
I'm also working on a new watermark for 2009. Up there is just a temporary transition I'm using until I finalize a design.
